Really good work here though I think I softlocked myself after getting the heavy weapon.

Could you describe the nature of the softlock?

Got the heavy weapon and now cannot escape since I don't have a weapon that destroys the yellow hexagon blocks

The heavy weapon can be used to break the other cracked blocks

Yes but the only way I can get out is through the other type of block or by somehow cheesing my way through the rotating blocks that make for one way corridors.

Really interesing mechanic. I like how fluid is everything, even in the Swallows zone. Very amusing game.

Althought early in the game I got a bug. When I was reading the text of a computer, three sea urchings pass over me and killed me. When I respawn in the save point, the game stopped responding any key input, even the pause button. Nothing that forcing closing the game can’t solve, but I don’t believe that is supposed to happen. Still not deducts points in the experience, though, good job.

Good stuff! Rusted Moss meets Cave Story? No matter what, nice pacing, good mechanics, lovely music and visuals. Thank you.

and Rain World hehehe

enjoyable but... NEEDS a map

There actually is one, though it's not super obvious--In Respiration, there's a snail that you can see above you but can't reach directly. If you go left, then up, then right through a false-wall, you'll be able to talk to them, prompting them to give you the map module (and it will be usable provided you've unlocked the HUD).

So good!

this joint is beautiful

Really nice art style! The concept seems fun as well. Saved for later.

Very enjoyable.

It's interesting to me how much of a lasting impact Cave Story has had on video games since its release over two decades ago now.

And I mean this in the best possible way, if that wasn't obvious. I was already feeling a bit bad for our buddy in circulatory when I first started reading some of those terminals, and then, once I had begun scouring through the last of the map, I kept wishing there was something I could do for the poor guy. Seeing "Tow Rope" as that last item I had found, and realizing what it meant sent me over the edge and had me teary-eyed at the whole thing.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the little world you've shared. <3

Looks nice 🔥
