Fortunately, you get to work alongside your best friend, Dimitri. Unfortunately, Dimitri is leaving town at the end of the summer… and you’re not.

Zi is a director and animator who doesn’t play games, but loves telling weird stories. She is the most comfortable writing silly cartoon comedy, like in her Youtube series Ramshackle. However, Zi doesn’t enjoy being too comfortable, so she decided to torture herself by creating a series that is centered around coming-of-age drama and surrealism–hence Pine Point.
Pine Point: Insomniac came into existence after realizing that another animated episode would probably shave years off of Zi’s lifespan, so a visual novel was the next best thing. This game serves as a short proof-of-concept for the Pine Point project.

It was good, pretty short and I wish there was more actually game play
Wait, pause. Bomba Yucateca MADE A GAME ?!!?!? This truly is a Ramshackle (ignore my random shit)
• The story feels very lived in, so much so that you connect with the characters easily
• The character pairings' voices inferred by their character design, font and script creates a spell that makes you wanna know them better
• That nostalgic sequence before it ends, articulated by our mc made me feel like I was part of it, too, like I was reminiscing with him. Then after that, it left a void in my heart.
• Heh. There are some jokes that would fly over my head unless I play it again
• The production is insane ...But...so...short...
really short gameplay imo, but the 3rd ending made me so nostalgic abt my childhood -- all the good friends, the feeling of being free. the art and music are also so beautiful omg

SOOOO GOOD!!!! honestly, 10/10. it would be really neat to find out what happens after each ending tho, especially the melatonin one
I've been a big fan of Zeddyzi's for nearly 2 years now, but once I played this game, I LOVED IT. It was amazing, and it's also extremely relatable and realistic with my phobias and stuff going on in my life lol.

I was devistated when it was over; but so happy that I played. A lot of these images almost feel like they were pulled from my own childhood. Everyting from the art to the music is amazing. Hopefully we see more; but either way, this was great
