Maritime SITOR SELCALL

SELCALL is a translation program to translate selective calling signals of the maritime mobile service (MMS) CCIR 476-3 SITOR radio teletype service between their numeric values and printable 4-letter-representations.
This is the DOC file selcall.php.

SELCALL 1.6 (sel16tk.zip), an interactive SELCALL translation program written in Perl/Tk. Running under Perl and requires Perl/Tk.
Developed and tested on Linux 2.4.0 with Perl 5.006 and Perl/Tk 800.014,
also tested on HP-UX 11 with Perl 5.006 and Perl/Tk 800.023,
on Windows NT 4.0 with Perl 5.00503 and Perl/Tk 800.022, on Windows 98 with Perl 5.006 and Perl/Tk 800.022.
If you don't know or don't have Perl or Perl/Tk, go to www.perl.com and www.cpan.org.
Installation of selcall: go to a sub-directory and unzip the sel16tk.zip archive.
If running under unix, make sure that the selcall.pl is executable (chmod 755).
The program is ready to run with './selcall.pl' or 'perl selcall.pl'.
SELCALL 1.6 (sel16cgi.zip), an interactive SELCALL translation program written in Perl and implemented as Perl-CGI. Running under a CGI-capable webserver.
Developed and tested on Linux 2.4.0 with Apache 1.3.14 with mod_perl.
Installation of selcall: go to a cgi-bin sub-directory under the document-root of your webserver and unzip the sel16cgi.zip archive.
The program is ready to run under 'http://localhost/...cgi-bin/selcall.pl'.
This program is running here on this server : www.kloth.net/cgi-bin/selcall.pl.
SELCALL 1.5 (selcal15.zip), an interactive SELCALL translation program develoved under MS-DOS.
Standalone EXE file running under MS-DOS, IBM OS/2 V4 (OS/2 command window and DOS compatibility box), and the DOS-windows in Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0.
Written in Borland PASCAL 7.01.
Installation: go to a sub-directory and unzip the selcal15.zip archive. The program is ready to run with 'selcall'.

Annex10 Aeronautical SELCAL

The C-program annex10gener.php generates aero SELCAL tones according to the specs of ICAO: AERONAUTICAL TELECOMMUNICATIONS, Annex 10 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation, Volume I.
The program runs on Linux and needs a standard PC soundcard.

Date

DATUM.ZIP ... a date conversion and calculation program. (21 KBytes).
I often need to do a quick conversion between different date representation formats YYYY.DDD and YYY-MM-DD (or MM/DD/YYY, DD.MM.YYYY) and sometimes need to know, what date was 100 days ago, how many days to go until christmas, etc. ... and since I didn't find a suitable program, I just wrote my own. Enjoy. The ZIP-file contains an EXE file and DOC files DATUM-GE.TXT in German and DATUM-EN.TXT in English.
This program can also be used online as a Perl-CGI datum2.pl.
