Amano De Londra Miura is a singer, songwriter, poet, performance artist and arts facilitator.
Her live performances attune to people, place and season, blending Irish sean-nós with contemporary collaborations, nu-folk compositions and spoken word. She connects audiences to their inner landscapes and while creating points of encounter with the greater-than-human ecosystem.
Since reigniting her artistic practice in 2023, Amano has been kindly supported by the Arts Council Traditional Arts Bursary Award, An Sparánacht Síol (An Taibhdhearc – The National Irish Language Theatre) and the Creative Work Development Bursary from Kerry County Council Arts.
In 2026 she is one of three Irish performing artists participating in Island Connect, a European residency exchange programme for critical engagement with the themes of islander identities and island socio-political realities. This exchange brings Amano to Eilersten & Granados Teaterkompani, Stamsund, Norway and BIRCA (Bækkelund International Residency Centre for Artists), Bornholm, Denmark.

Her collaborative electronic project with Kalabanx, THREAD, was nominated for “Album of the Year” and “Song of the Year” at the 2025 Gradaim Nós Irish Language Music Awards.
