Eligibility
The CTRL-V Hackathon is open to participants worldwide.
- Students, developers, designers, researchers, entrepreneurs, and technology enthusiasts are welcome.
- Teams may consist of 1–4 members.
- Participants may join only one team.
- No prior hackathon experience is required.
We encourage participants from all backgrounds and skill levels to apply.
Challenge
Build an AI-powered or technology-driven solution that improves access to something important.
Examples include:
- Education
- Healthcare
- Information
- Career opportunities
- Financial services
- Government services
- Community resources
- Accessibility for people with disabilities
Requirements
Projects must:
- Address a real-world problem.
- Use technology as a core component.
- Include a functional prototype, demo, or proof of concept.
- Be substantially developed during the hackathon.
Submission Materials
Each team must submit:
- Project name
- Short description
- Detailed project explanation
- Demo video (up to 5 minutes)
- Screenshots
- GitHub repository or project link
- List of technologies used

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection
Projects will be evaluated using the following criteria:
Impact (30%)
How effectively does the project improve access or remove barriers?
Innovation (25%)
How original and creative is the solution?
Technical Implementation (25%)
How well was the technology implemented?
User Experience (10%)
Is the solution intuitive and accessible?
Presentation (10%)
How clearly does the team communicate the problem and solution?
The project with the highest overall score will be selected as the winner.
In the event of a tie, judges will prioritize Impact and Innovation.
