KALTUNGO NIGHT OF DRAMA, SONGS AND CAROLS!

The twenty first (21) day of December every year is the official date of the Dingdong Family Kaltungo’s drama, songs and carols!
Last year, the event took place at the Olusegun Obasanjo stadium Kaltungo, but there is a change this year and it took place at the newly opened ultra modern “Kaltungo Events Center” (KEC).
The show was classic!
Family members enjoyed themselves!
The crowd were thrilled!!!

The love family from Billiri did an excellent drama presentation and little Deborah Hala surprised the audience with her performance!

The gathering was large and in recent times, apart from the “Kilang Mini Marathon” the activities of the Dingdong family, viz; rallies, drama, songs and carols concerts, attracts the most crowd, predominantly youths, within the locality!

DING DONG 2017 CHRISTMAS RALLY, DAY 2!

Today is the second day of the Dingdong family Kaltungo Christmas rally. Unlike yesterday, there was more crowd and everything went smoothly!

The rally started around 11am and ended around 4pm. Today’s route started from the Living Faith Church on to the old market in Termana, then through Kalorgu, Kulishin, Boh, Karel, Lapan, Popandi, Poshereng, Aya, Okra, Kalaring, Old market again, down to Mai Kaltungo’s palace, to the central roundabout, then central motor park and back to Living Faith Church, covering over thirty (30)KLM.

The rally was awesome and occasioned by songs and dancing, while one of the Patrons, Rev. Bitrus Obida, together with Evangelist Kiliyobas Sule, shared the Word of God in turns.

Like last year’s rally, Baba Eduk Labetek, also a patron of the family, fully participated in every day of the rally!

 

DINGDONG FAMILY KALTUNGO, 2017 CHRISTMAS RALLY, DAY 1

It is the Christmas season, when Christians all over the world celebrate the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Dingdong family Kaltungo, as part of the celebrations for this year, has organized a two day rally with drama and carols night on the third.

Today, Tuesday 19th December 2017 is the first day for the family’s Christmas activities of the year, with a rally that covered about fifty (50) KLM, of songs and sharing the good news of the special salvation we(Christians), enjoy!

The rally started late, around 11am due to inadequate finances and ended around 3.30pm, to be concluded tomorrow, and hopefully cover about forty (40) KLM.

The only problem the family had, was systems failure! There was also no refreshments, but pure water was available!

The take off point was the Living Faith Church, Kaltungo and the places visited were Ture Balam, Ture Mai, Awak Soblong, Daura, Potwana, Gujuba, Kampandi, Pokwangli, from where the family passed through Lashikoltok, Billiri and on to Kaltungo.

Observation

It will be surprising that a predominantly Christian community like Kaltungo will not support an event of praise to the glory of the name of the Lord and especially a Christmas event! But a lot of prominent sons and daughters were contacted by the family, to assist in one way or the other, and most of them refused! Those that did, had to, with pressure and they did very little, yet there are those that did much, joyfully, even more!

The sad part of the matter is the fact that some of the prominent Christians of the land have sponsored so many non Christian programs and projects involving football tournaments that costs lots of money, but find it difficult to give a single dime for the propagation of the gospel through songs ministrations and preaching the word!

I feel very sorry for our Christian politicians that lacked the wisdom to support Christian youths that have distinguished themselves to do a worthy act for the glory of the name of God! It will be an act of shame to someday ask the Christian youths to vote for a Christian politician, cause some of the politicians have openly scorned the Christian youths with this act of refusal!!!

I’m just imagining what could have happened, if non Christian politicians were approached for assistance…

Is there really anything wrong in our Christian youths refusing to support and vote for Christian politicians that refused to support their spiritual efforts? If they can’t do it before election, can they do it after?

What about top civil servants and highly placed individuals in the community that don’t like supporting fellow Christians and gospel activities? Do they deserve any respect or a place of honor in the community, when they desire it?

To whom much is given, much is expected and those that have much and refused to share will be very lonely and must someday loose all! Where will they go to, when such a time comes?

The season is here again!

So much merriment, songs and carols!

The Dingdong Family Kaltungo did it’s fourth carols outing of the year, today, Sunday 17th December, as guests at the Living Faith Church, Billiri.

The audience were thrilled! There was so much dancing and applause, during the family’s presentation!

The Dingdong Family annual events will begin on Tuesday 19th December by 9;00am with a two day’s rally and wrap up on Thursday 21st December 2017, where a grand carol will take place, to be spiced up with drama and poetry presentations at the Kaltungo Events Center (KEC) from 4:00pm!

Let’s make merry and praise the name of The Lord, for this is Christmas, the time that salvation came into the world with the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ!
