Messages timestamps are negative

You are setting up gotify in

• Gotify server, version 2.7.3: kubernetes cluster
• Gotify client: raspberry pi/debian 13 and macbook/macos 26

Describe your problem

I have deployed gotify server in my kubernetes cluster, with a simple helm chart.
Chart is using gotify default configuration, only admin name/pass are updated at first start.

I have created two apps in gotify, one for my raspberry pi, one for my macbook.
I have installed gotify-cli on my my raspberry pi, but not on my macbook.

I have sent messages from raspberry and macbook to gotify-server.
Messages are displayed with negative timestamps:

This is weird, I don't understand why timestamps are displayed like this.

Server, raspberry pi and macbook are all using timesync/ntp and "Europe/Paris" as timezone.

Do someone what is happening here?

I think this is the localization of relative timestamps went into fallback, what language/locale is your browser in?

In English it should be "X ago". Let me see if I can force the timestamp widget to not read the browser language but use only the interface language (English).

I did some experiment, interesting.. It seems only on French the time on Intl.RelativeTimeFormat returns this format.

I don't speak French but I am guessing the reason is there is no short way to say "1 second ago" so it used this representation instead. It probably isn't Gotify's problem. If you know a way to say "1s ago" better you could consider opening a ticket with the browser vendor to get it changed.

If this have to be resolved on our end we could consider (1) adding an exception to French (2) just force the widget to use English like the rest of the UI.

Indeed, my browser (Chrome) is using French locale.

I have changed languages to English/US and English in Chrome, but that doesn't change anything:

Timestamps got weird as they are now clearly translated to French, when all other part of UI is English.

In my mind, you should force widget to use English as nothing else is translated in UI.
