It seems that the bugfix isn't in v3.5.1, it still failed on my system.

I see that failure as well on Python 3.5.1, but it's not a simple matter of skipping the test until 3.5.2.

Reading the Python 3.5 news file, the fix for Python #25447 was introduced in Python 3.5.1rc1, so is present. It seems there's a new failure now, which will need to be addressed separately.
