Due to having a somewhat extensive custom Contentlayer configuration, I ran into quite a few snags in migrating from contentlayer to the contentlayer2 fork. Many thanks to @sebald, @lloydrichards and @timlrx for setting me on the right path in #15.
While this was fresh in my head, I went ahead and documented the process for others to keep the momentum going with the Contentlayer community 🙌🏻. I hope y'all find this helpful.
