National Ranching Heritage Center (inside Texas Tech University) — Lubbock, TX.

The heritage center facilitates replicas of ranching structure all across the country (especially down the south) dated back 100ish years ago.

… also includes ranch tools used during that time as well.

Train carriers used to transport cattle.

Taos, NM historic towns — too bad that Taos Pueblo was still closed before summer arrives.

But Rio Grande Gorge could be visited any time.

The delicate arch! I was here 11 years ago!

Red rocks from the rear-view mirror — Arches National Park, UT.

Minidoka National Historic Site (Idaho) — a relocation camp built for Japanese immigrants during world war II. No visitors were there when I visited but this is very educational.

And Seattle is rainy as usual 🙂
