Jamie is an AI assistant that transcribes and summarizes meetings silently in the background, without the need to add virtual bots to video calls. Thanks to Jamie, you can transcribe both in-person and online meetings, automating note-taking and avoiding needing to go back over recordings later.

Jamie needs access to your microphone, as the app captures your voice through it. This allows you to record conversations in real-time without requiring administrative access to calls. Once the session has ended, the system processes the audio and provides you with both the full transcript and structured summaries that highlight key points, decisions made, and pending tasks. To ensure a coherent final document, the program's voice recognition feature automatically identifies the different speakers in the conversation and assigns each sentence to the correct person.

All generated information is kept completely updated between the desktop and mobile app versions, so you can start recording an in-person meeting from your smartphone and review the notes later on your PC.

Processing and language management settings

In the Jamie Settings, you can adjust audio capture parameters and choose from over 100 languages for audio recognition, which makes managing international or multinational teams much easier. There are also advanced options that determine how audio is handled once processed, ensuring that the original audio files are deleted after the text is extracted if configured that way in your account preferences. My experience with Jamie

I have used Jamie to document several video calls related to content creation, using my Corsair headset microphone to record my voice. I activated the recording directly from the interface while we were discussing, which generated a piece of text that's quite faithful to the conversation, automatically identifying each attendee who spoke.
