We're working on a new Fandom series that spotlights fun, obscure facts from different wikis. It's still in the very early stages, but we'd love to hear from you!

Can someone explain what the heck wizards are, and the Middle-earth creation story? I know a little bit on info on it, but i need more. Any wiki pages or descriptions would be welcome. Thanks!

In both the book and movie of the Return of the King, as Gollum and the Ring sink into the lava, the last thing Gollum sees, is the Ring slipping from his grasp, betraying him one final time. I guess in the Rings figured that this was it and there was no way out of this. So it decided to pull one final act of treachery before it was destroyed. In other words, the Ring, in it's twisted and evil ways, decided to face death with dignity.

Bruh, who came up with this "theory"?💀🤣 That's honestly funny, but not what I expected from google😅

Check out one of our latest tech updates! This update contains details on maintenance on our database infrastructure alongside a few other fixes. In development are the Bubble icon at the top of pages, Module with popular Discussions, Thread counter for logged-out users, Database upgrade and Landing pages.

For the third year in a row, we're pulling back the curtain to bring you our third transparency report! The biggest updates this year are notably a new Admin Code of Conduct, to maintain consistency and fairness with how communities are managed and operated, and there's an update to the Edit Review system to make moderation more consistent, transparent, and fair.

Idk if I'm the only one but Stranger Things seems to mirror Lord of the Rings a lot. Four boys plus some adults and teens and having to face off against this evil from an alternate dimension (Eddie literally called it Mordor) and the ending with them all leading their lives and separating just hammered it in further.

On the face of it, even Lord of the Rings is supposed to be a childish fantasy but is fairly violent though not as graphic as ST and it does have comedic moments too.

I seriously don't see how people compare it to Wednesday.

So, who are your favourites?

Personally, I have a bit of a list of favorites, for all sorts of different reasons, but Maedhros is probably always near the top. Generally the Sons of Fëanor also strike me as really tragically fascinating, except for the twins because I keep forgetting about them.

Sauron is just one of my favorite characters in general. He fascinates me. I'm also a sucker for shapeshifting characters, so that makes me love him all the more. He is tragic to me but inexcusably so, yet I still love him. He's an incredibly intelligent character and by far moreso than Melkor, in my opinion- Generally Melkor sort of just seemed... mad. But sauron was smooth and manipulative and conniving, yet completely ruthless. It also fascinates me to think about the what ifs; what if he had gained dominance of middle earth? He seemed to have been a craftsman and lover of beauty; i doubt he wanted a world of fiery wastes full of orcs, just something else that he deemed better and more importantly would be under his control. By far he was probably the most powerful Maiar. In fact, in my eyes he greatly surpassed his former master in terms of reach and power.

(Kindly, for the sake of my own emotional energy, refrain from mentioning RoP's messed up versions of characters. I am a diehard Silmarillion fan and can't stand how Amazon misrepresented and misinterpreted the characters.)
