The Ghost Rider is a supernatural agent indwelled by a Spirit of Vengeance who mounts a hellish vehicle to bring upon justice to evil ones with his Penance Stare. Bike rider and stunt performer Johnny Blaze has become the Ghost Rider by striking a pact with the demon-lord Mephisto to have his dying soul bonded with that of the devil Zarathos. Ever since, Blaze has been connected with misadventures in hellish domains. Blaze's half-brother Danny Ketch ascended as a new Ghost Rider, as his spirit and motorcycle were imbued with its powers through the Medallion of Power. From the criminal underworld, Alejandra Jones was chosen as Blaze's replacement after he gave up his demonic powers, being tutored by him. Robbie Reyes, an orphan from Los Angeles who struggled to take care of his younger brother, has been turned into an all-new Ghost Rider through his Hell Charger and a corrupting connection with his deceased criminal uncle Eli Morrow. Reyes became a central figure in the Avengers and in the history of super-humans on Earth.
