Dear Tanks, where’s the fire? by [deleted] in wow

You're the one coming into a game's subreddit and demanding people play like they did 20+ years ago in what is essentially a different game. You're antagonising people and then getting upset that they downvote you lol

I also played classic back then and still enjoy the extremely slow playstyle from time to time, but the game evolved. Retail is very different. If you don't like that then fair enough, that's fine. But it's not going to change so I'd recommend one of the many classic game versions

Huge fire at Glasgow Central Station prompts evacuations as building collapses by [deleted] in worldnews

The fire reportedly started in vape shop in an attached building so more likely just irresponsibility. The station itself hasn’t been damaged

Also if he hadn't reacted so badly to being caught out then it would never have gone viral. His lies and aggressive tone caught everyone off guard I think, who expects that from a Canadian curler?

2 million rally in Italy for Gaza as general strike halts key services by QanAhole in worldnews

World news is pretty much Isreal heaven. I’m not normally one to believe bots are as big a problem as people say, but this sub has always been crazy biased. It’s totally different to 95% of subs when it comes to this topic

Some are, but some are just throwing insults or judging the relationship based on their own values. Once OP said they haven't give their partner money and that they've met many times, that should be enough for people to be like, fair, it's your relationship and your choices. But instead many have just decided to lecture OP at a time where they are at their most vulnerable

Tbh I haven't normally given partners my parent's contact info, even in long distance relationships that went on for years. So perhaps that's why it's not weird to me, but everyone has different relationships with their parents or how involved their are etc. For all we know OP's partner could be distant with parents. In hindsight a contact number is still useful for emergencies and that's what OP will take away from this, but I don't find the situation particularly strange

I genuinely wonder what causes someone to go into a topic of someone looking for help and start spouting such shite

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Varanae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yo OP, best of luck and sorry that people in here are being such judgemental pricks. No idea why people feel the need to give their opinions on your relationship when they could just not comment if they've got nothing useful to say, but that's Reddit for you I guess

Yeah this is more of a rare occasion, I've just noticed it more than I do with other subreddits during regular weeks. I see plenty about them when reading news elsewhere that I decided I didn't need it on Reddit too, it's such a constant flood of shite

So I've had the words 'Musk' and 'Trump' blocked on Reddit for a while and right now I see 6/10 of the top posts here and 4/10 on the UK subreddit.. can't help but feel I've made a good choice for my own sanity

Be honest, how often do you actually floss your teeth? by Doomergeneration in AskUK

You can find one accepting new patients on the NHS website

You must know that most people can't, in the majority of areas there's simply no practices accepting new NHS patients.

Overall 82.8% of dental surgeries are refusing to let adults seeking NHS care become a patient, while 71.1% are refusing to let under-18s do so, analysis by Labour found.

The situation is so bad that only four of the 456 surgeries in the south-west of England are accepting new adult patients – less than one in 100 of those across the region.

Other areas with the highest proportion of practices that will not let adults join their patient list to receive NHS-funded care include the north-east (96.8%) and the east Midlands (94.3%).

Article. I'm lucky enough to have a dentist but if I didn't have one, I wouldn't be able to find one

It is still a struggle to even book an appointment. I tried recently but then they cancelled the appointment as the dentist left (I'd imagine to go private) and they said 'call back in 2 months'. Fantastic! Dentistry is in a rubbish spot
