Borhyaena is an extinct genus of metatherians. It lived in South America between 20 and 15 million years ago.
It was a predator whose lifestyle must have been rather similar to that of a hyaena. It lived between 17.5 and 15.5 million years ago in Patagonia. Two species have been found.
