The Mobile Mechanic came again

ImageThe Mobile Mechanic came again on April 16th and this time he was disguised as a Handy Man.

ImageThe fence he is in front of Had old rotted fence that the storm wrecked and it was leaning on the neighbors new fence, covered in vines and STUFF and  a long the edge was a 2 foot wire fence that had been there for 10 years  to keep the dogs from going under the old fence. We thought it would be a simple roll up. NOT! the roots had wrapped around it and it took 20 to clear the wood fence and an hour to get that wire fence out and rolled up and to the curb where by night fall someone else was using it.

He cleared that one section, reinstalled a fascia board the storm blew loose , plugged the hole into our other neighbors yard, its their fence, and

was able to plug the whole between neighbor new fence and neighbor old fence and there is no way Beau can get out.Image
Keith, also put a brand new handle on the broken handle to the pipe that is the cut off to shut water to our house if we had a  leak. My peace of mind is complete. This young man has put a battery in the dead truck, hydraulics on my hood and trunk to keep them from falling on my head, new handles that allows me to open the back doors on my SUV and repaired holes, and water turn off in 3 visits. He is so reasonable in price I feel like I am cheating him.
Keith even text me yesterday know they were to pick up all the trash from the curb and asked if he needed to come put it all at the curb. I assured him he did not, that it was all out their waiting.  He said if I need help with something heavy or lightbulbs in ceiling, anything I can't do myself to text him and he will come.

Plus, my new friend Ruby pruned 1/4 of a tree in 20 minutes yesterday and it is at the curb waiting for pickup and she is walking with Beau and I tomorrow morning and coming prepared with gardening tools and we are going to finish clearing the fence to the fence line. She works for friendship, no cash needed... plus we have fun while doing it. she will pull, bend and chop, I will drag stuff around and pick ups sticks with my grabber... She wants me to sit in a chair and watch which I will NOT.
I am so thankful the Lord sent me these new people to help me and be my friends.

Two Keith's and a Ruby

Image

Yesterday, Keith, from Mobile Auto Physician came to our home, put a new battery in Bob's truck, replaced the struts that hold up the back door and the hood to my Kia SUV, and did it in about 20 minutes. He is the owner and only employee and he was here for 2 hours because first he and I had conversations and then he came in to meet
Bob and had a long conversation, exchanging stories. He is the age of my son Dan, and has been Mobile Mechanic for 16 years but 30 years as a mechanic. Drag Racer, Circle Racer, Mechanic, built his own race cars, lover to fish and do radio control cars. All things that Bob had done his entire life.

For once I could not get a word in edgewise. Bob's Truck is a 2004, we bought it new for me to drive my long commute, and in 22 years no one has touched the truck but Bob except to put new tires on. He fretted over someone other than himself touching it. When I came inside and said, Bob, I went out to see how it was going and Kieth has washed your truck. He said he could not leave it with a year of grime on it because its to pretty to leave it dirty. He is also a GM man and fell in love with the truck. I found him when I called Auto Zone to find out if they had struts for my Kia and asked if they could put them on if I brought the truck to them. The answer was, we don't do that any longer, but we have a number for a Mobile Mechanic.

He is an early bird as are we, and was in the driveway at 8:10 AM and done by 8:20, his prices are more than reasonable, and he picks up the parts and comes to us.

Isn't it hard to believe this truck is 22 years old?
He was the first Keith. 3 days ago while walking Beau, a woman walking alone, walked up to us and said , Do you remember Me? I said I remember your face but not where I know you from. She said, Dog trainer and I said you are the one that trained a puppy for Southeast Guide Dogs, and I saw you every day for a year, with the puppy. She said, that it was 4 years ago. I don't train anymore, I no longer have the patience it requires. We talked, I blabbed about Bob.

The next day, I heard a car come up behind me and stepped in the gas and when the car stopped, I turned and it was the same lady. She said, I talked to my husband, and we want to help you and your husband.. She handed me her card and said, I have been driving up and down the streets looking for you, and can't believe you are out here in this cold. It was to cold for me to walk. We want you to call when you have a need and if he can do it we will come and help.
She said, if you ever can't walk Beau, call me and I will come walk him for you.

When I read the card, I found her name is Ruby, and her husband is Keith.
Now we have Two Keith's and a Ruby to help when we need it.
Thank you to all of you who prayed with me to find help.
Thank you, Lord for sending help.
