We offer a 14-day, 100% money-back guarantee on all new purchases of annual licenses (Starter, Developer, and Agency plans).

Eligibility Requirements

You may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of your original purchase date if any of the following conditions apply:

  1. Missing Features: A feature explicitly described on our website or in our product documentation is not available or does not function as advertised.
  2. Technical Issues: The plugin does not work as described in our documentation, and our support team is unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe.
  3. Compatibility Problems: ThemeRouter is incompatible with your WordPress installation, hosting environment, or essential third-party plugins/themes, and we cannot provide a workable solution.
  4. Unresolved Support Issues: You have contacted our support team, provided reasonable information to troubleshoot the issue, and we have been unable to resolve the problem.

Conditions and Limitations

Refunds will not be granted in the following circumstances:

  • Requests made more than 14 calendar days after the original purchase date
  • Change of mind, project cancellation, or no longer needing the plugin
  • Issues caused by server restrictions, hosting limitations, incompatible third-party software, or lack of WordPress technical knowledge where we have provided working solutions or workarounds
  • Failure to contact support before requesting a refund
  • Violation of our Terms of Service or License Agreement
  • Requests for renewal payments (see Renewal Policy below)
  • Requests for lifetime licenses (if applicable – see Lifetime License Policy below)

Renewal Payments

Renewal payments are non-refundable.

Annual licenses automatically renew each year unless canceled before the renewal date. By purchasing an annual license, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You will receive email reminders 30 days and 7 days before your license renewal date
  • You may cancel your license at any time before the renewal date through your account dashboard or by contacting support at support@themerouter.com
  • Once a renewal payment is processed, it is considered a continuation of your existing license and is not eligible for refund
  • All renewal licenses receive a 20% discount as our way of thanking loyal customers

To avoid unwanted charges: Cancel your license before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue using ThemeRouter.

Lifetime Licenses (If Applicable)

Lifetime licenses are non-refundable.

Due to the one-time payment structure and perpetual access provided by lifetime licenses, we do not offer refunds on lifetime license purchases.

We strongly recommend:

  • Purchasing an annual license first to evaluate ThemeRouter plugin
  • Upgrading to a lifetime license only after you are satisfied with the product

Refund Processing

Payment Method

All approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

Processing Time

  • Refunds are typically processed within 7-10 business days of approval
  • Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for funds to appear in your account
  • For PayPal refunds, funds typically appear within 3-5 business days

License Deactivation

Upon refund approval and processing:

  • The plugin may continue to function in a limited capacity, but you will not receive updates or support
  • Your ThemeRouter license will be immediately deactivated
  • Access to premium features, updates, and support will be revoked

Chargebacks and Dispute Resolution

Before filing a chargeback or payment dispute, we respectfully ask that you contact us at support@themerouter.com to resolve the issue.

Chargebacks:

  • Harm small businesses like ours with fees and penalties
  • Prevent us from understanding and addressing your concerns
  • May result in permanent account suspension and blacklisting

If you file a chargeback or payment dispute:

  • Your license will be immediately terminated
  • You will be permanently banned from purchasing or using ThemeRouter
  • We reserve the right to pursue legal remedies to recover costs associated with fraudulent chargebacks

We are committed to fair resolution. If you have a legitimate concern, we will work with you to find a solution.

Exceptions and Special Circumstances

We understand that exceptional circumstances may arise. If you believe your situation warrants consideration beyond this policy, please contact us at support@themerouter.com with a detailed explanation.

We will review requests on a case-by-case basis, but approval is at our sole discretion and does not guarantee a refund.

Modifications to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website with an updated “Last Updated” date.
