I was a feeder and now I am a contributor. Why?

Answer

We’ve made some changes behind the scenes in how we say thank you to those who send us data and contribute to making Flightradar24 the world class flight tracking service that it is today. For now though, it’s just a change in name and you’ll retain access to the same features as a contributor.

Question 2

How do I activate my Contributor plan?

Answer

If you have a Free account, it will automatically get upgraded after the data starts arriving from your receiver. If you don't have an account yet, sign up for a free account here, using the same email that is registered with your receiver.

Question 3

Is API access included in the Contributor plan?

Answer

No, API access is not included in the Contributor plan. If you wish to access any API products, you can subscribe using your same account login via the API subscriptions page.

Question 4

What's the difference between the Business and Contributor plan

Answer

The Contributor plan is the new name for the plan we solely offer to our contributors. You’ll retain the same access to all the latest features as per your previous plan.

Question 5

I'm sharing data but my plan is still Free

Answer

Please check your receiver’s status on the receiver stats page in your Flightradar24 account. The status should show “Online” and the graphs should display data. Try logging out and back into your account. If the receiver is functioning correctly but the status remains unchanged after re-logging in, please contact our support team and we will assist you.

Question 6

I had a Silver/Gold plan before but have now started sharing data - how do I cancel the paid plan?

Answer

Please cancel the paid subscription directly through the platform where it was originally purchased (our website, the App Store, or Google Play). If you prefer, you can also contact our support team and we’ll be happy to assist you.

Question 7

What happens to my Contributor plan if I stop sharing data?

Answer

If for some reason your receiver stops sending data, you’ll receive the usual emails as per your notification settings. If the data feed is not restored within 7 days, your account will be downgraded to Free. If you start successfully sending data again, you will be reupgraded back to a Contributor plan.
