    Animals Asia has rescued over 600 bears from extreme cruelty. But every rescue is entirely dependent on supporters around the globe like @rickygervais who stand up for the bears when they need help. Thank you Ricky, and everyone around the world who makes new lives possible.

    This is what happens when you put non-toxic bubble bath in a paddling pool full of rescued moon bears. Fun times! 🎉 Moon bears are playful and curious. In sanctuary, daily enrichment ensures they enjoy every single day of their new lives. #MoonBearMonday

    This is the moment we've all been waiting for. After 15 years of captivity, a 5-day rescue and months of rehab, sun bear Aurora has made her first steps on grass. There is so much more to come for this brave girl but this is a huge achievement. #WishUponAStarRescue

    Handsome & glamorous by association with rescued sun bear Lamma! ☀️🐻🛀 We wouldn't recommend actually sharing a tub with a wild animal though.

    Watching moon bear Gypsy playing on a bed of leaves is medicine for the soul. Rolling on her back, doing forward rolls, playing with her hessian sack while the birds sing around her... This is pure joy. This is happiness. This is the least she deserves. Happy #MoonBearMonday x

    For 17 long, lonely years, she was the bear with no name. Trapped in isolation on a bear bile farm in Vietnam, she suffered repeated bile extraction. But now she is Precious. She has a name, she is loved, and she is making herself at home. #NoNameBearRescue

    Thanks to people around the world, 7 moon bears and a sun bear were rescued from a collective 111 years of cruelty in 2018. Mai, Mekong, Star, LeBon, Kim, Sky, Precious and Aurora are safe and in 2019 you will see them continue to flourish. Thank you for changing their world.

    Just a bear, who suffered unimaginable cruelty in a tiny cage for years, now floating contently in the sunshine. Moon bear Tatzi can hear the birds singing all around him. Nearly 10 years on from his rescue from a bile farm, every single day is full of joy. #MoonBearMonday

    Safe at last! Moon bear cubs Sugar and Spice are safely back our sanctuary after dramatic rescue from a cruel circus. No-one can hurt them anymore. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who has helped get these innocent little bears to safety. #CircusCubsRescue
