This is a great satirical account, but the question of whether outer space above a country is owned by that country is actually a very interesting chapter in Space Law.

It's always going to seem like really weird timing because things are always happening. It's apophenia. People ask this question all the time whenever they see NG equipment moving because "XXX is only 1 month away!" or "YYY just happened!" I did DSCA for USNORTHCOM for a number
