Announcing the premiere of my new podcast: IntelInsights. Every week I'll be taking a look at a new #NationalSecurity#Military or #Intelligence issue. Here's the link via Apple Podcasts:
Robert Cardillo, former head of the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, tells @wolfblitzer on @CNN that President Trump has violated his oath of office. Trump “is not interested in facts”. Only pursues his own interests.
—>> President Trump informed Russian President Vladimir Putin in a phone call of his suggestion to invite Russia to the upcoming G7 summit, the Kremlin says.
The Kremlin said the call was initiated by the US side.

Haha! Watching Mick Mulvaney talk to @jimsciutto on @NewDay Says POTUS made a “mistake” hiring military people. As if military people are a monolithic group. Remember when those military officers were “my Generals”?
Totally agree @jimsciutto ...Pardoning war criminals in our ranks undermines everything we stand for. The internal and external consequences will be dangerous on so many levels.
The military is not the constituency for these pardons. Service-members I’ve spoken with say these convicted criminals undermine the mission and make them less safe. Strikes me it’s a straight-up political base play with damaging real-world consequences.
This is a huge mistake, Senator. Hegseth wouldn’t be promoted to any senior rank in the active duty military with his “baggage”. Instead of “peace through strength” you’re getting “weakness through chaos”.
Trump failed to answer that Ukraine must win. His response unrealistic - it would be illegal for him to conduct negotiations before becoming President.
