Here we are in another Republican government shutdown and my Rep is home doing photo ops instead of in D.C. trying to help working Americans. I didn't think I'd have to run to the trumpets again but I am. I'm running for Congress because I'm not done yet and neither are we. (1/2)

I lost my pregnant wife in a car accident. We laughed and celebrated at her wake. I lost 2 men in combat. Day later we were back in the fight and laughing about the close calls. Grief and recovery are complex and if you’ve never experienced it, don’t smear those that have.
