- Twenty MPs whose names were drawn in the Private Members' Bill ballot presented their bills in the House of Commons today.
Private Members Bills can only be introduced by backbench MPs, who choose the topic of the bill. MPs drawn in the ballot have priority for the limited amount of debating time for Private Members' Bills.
