It's a galactic group hang! Called CL0016+1609, this image shows two clusters of galaxies merging together, drawn in by gravity. Hubble's data sheds light on the distribution of dark matter – the invisible "scaffolding" of our universe: go.nasa.gov/4euZ2Hn
Several massive elliptical galaxies appear to sit in a nearly horizontal line across the center of the image. Numerous spiral, lenticular, and smaller elliptical galaxies dot the space surrounding the giant ellipticals.

Webb teamed up with @NASAHubble to examine a relic from our galaxy’s formation. This object might look like a globular cluster of stars, but is actually something much odder and rarer - a “bulge fossil fragment.” science.nasa.gov/missions/webb/…

A space volcano? 🌋 These two interacting galaxies almost look like an erupting volcano. Called MCG+12-02-001, this pair is visibly affected by their gravitational interaction, as cosmic material flings out in opposite directions: go.nasa.gov/4vKu4lu
A pair of interacting galaxies shine together against star-studded black space. The two galaxies almost resemble an erupting volcano, with the upper galaxy appearing larger.

A veteran of more than a dozen shuttle missions, including flights that helped build the @Space_Station and service @NASAHubble, Elkin Norena now serves as the resident management officer for NASA's SLS rocket. Read more about his path with @NASA: go.nasa.gov/4vPqqXK

It's time to get your boarding pass for @NASA’s next space telescope! Send your name a million miles away with @NASARoman and be a part of our telescope legacy: go.nasa.gov/43ycyov
A person holds a large, purple "boarding pass" for NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope in Goddard's large cleanroom wearing a full white cleanroom suit. The boarding pass has the detector logo for Roman, an artist concept image of Roman, as well as a QR code, the telescope, and the NASA logo. "Roman Telescope" is written where the name would go.

MACS0329-0211: Hard to say, but easy on the eyes. This galaxy cluster captured by Hubble shows a swarm of different galaxies, like large, oval-shaped elliptical galaxies, and thin spiral and lenticular galaxies viewed from the edge: go.nasa.gov/4viIZ6s
Numerous galaxies dot the scene and appear to cluster around the image center. The view includes large elliptical galaxies along with spiral and lenticular galaxies. Faint arcs of distant galaxies gravitationally lensed by the cluster appear in the upper-right quadrant of the image. A couple of foreground stars are also visible and easily distinguished by their diffraction spikes.

🔭 Our space telescopes are used to looking out at the cosmos, but if you’re ready to turn your gaze inside, they’ve got you covered there, too. With just five questions, find out whether Hubble, Webb, or Roman shares your vibe.

Hold my hand? In this Hubble view, two galaxies known collectively as NGC 5331 are seen just beginning to "link" their spiral arms. This galactic interaction is unfolding about 450 million light-years away, in the constellation Virgo. Read more: go.nasa.gov/4vxXL9f
Two spiral galaxies shine against black space, appearing connected to each other. A faint blue trail of stars extends to the right of the interacting galaxies. More distant galaxies dot the surrounding space.

How to get to views like these? On Hubble's Cosmic Adventure, of course! Buckle up for an intergalactic journey. Answer questions, and let your choices lead you to an incredible destination in our cosmos. Try it here: go.nasa.gov/4uxSGOa
M30. A spherical collection of stars shines against black space, more closely concentrated at center.
Veil Nebula. A complex, glowing nebula stretches across the image in shades of purple, pink, yellow, and orange. Several stars shine throughout.
Whirlpool Galaxy. A massive, face-on spiral galaxy glows with a yellow core and spiral arms full of dark brown dust and pink stars. The galaxy extends outward, with its outermost arm appearing to overlap with a small, yellowish gaalxy.

Just the two of us. 🎵 These two spiral galaxies are connected by a faint bridge of dim stars, like two dancers holding hands. Collectively known as Arp 240, this pair is located in the constellation Virgo, about 300 million light-years away: go.nasa.gov/3RQdcLq
Two spiral galaxies shine side-by-side against black space. Both galaxies have spiral arms full of dark brown dust and bright blue stars.

City of stars, are you shining just for me? This new Hubble view shows the spiral galaxy M88, located about 63 million light-years away. M88 is an active galaxy, which means that its center holds a supermassive black hole that snacks on gas and dust: go.nasa.gov/4fP2EpP
A large spiral galaxy. It is seen tilted at an angle, so that it is foreshortened and appears very wide. Its tightly-wound, blue spiral arms swirl out from its glowing center, spreading apart at the tips. They are followed by strands and clumps of dark red dust and spotted with pink dots where stars are forming in clouds of gas. The galaxy is surrounded by a slight glow and lies on a dark background.

Spaceburger 🍔 Gomez's Hamburger shows a Sun-like star near the end of its life, casting off layers of gas and dust. The "buns" are light reflecting off dust, and the "patty" is the dark band of dust in the middle. Learn more for Hamburger Day: go.nasa.gov/3PTqDJQ
Two glowing white lobes of cosmic material shine on either side of a dark black disk of dust, loosely resembling a hamburger. The black background of space is dotted with several stars.
