Everybody say "Hi, LESTR" 👋 This machine at our center is helping NASA study how materials behave in super-cold environments. Putting electronics and other flight hardware to the test at extremely low temperatures will be critical as we look to build a Moon Base near the lunar
A tall, industrial machine with metallic and gray components stands in a laboratory. Multiple cables and tubes connect to the central chamber, which is cylindrical. Some cables are silver and braided, while others are orange or yellow. The test rig has vertical support columns and a black base. The Artemis Generation is here. Artemis III will help us get into the rhythm of multi-launch campaigns, test new capabilities close to home, and then take the next step toward building a sustained human presence at the lunar South Pole.

Introducing Artemis III. Four astronauts. Three launches. Two dockings. One splashdown. In 2027, the Artemis III mission will practice docking the Orion spacecraft with two lunar landers in low Earth orbit — the capability we need to return humanity to the Moon’s surface.

We go where we need to be, and today that was @NASAKennedy. Some of my senior engineers and I spent time at @blueorigin with @JeffBezos and @davill, speaking with the workforce and seeing the damage at LC-36 firsthand. I appreciated the opportunity to hear directly from those

NASA is aware of the anomaly that occurred tonight at Launch Complex 36 involving Blue Origin’s New Glenn rocket at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

Spaceflight is unforgiving, and developing new heavy-lift launch capability is extraordinarily difficult. We will work with
