Here’s everything you need to know about NEAR:
✦ What NEAR is today, from NEAR Protocol to $NEAR token, Intents to IronClaw
✦ Why NEAR matters
✦ Why now
🧵
AI agents need more than intelligence.
They need secure execution, private inference, accessible markets, persistent identity, and verifiable settlement.
NEAR offers the entire stack.
[email protected] is live for Confidential Intents users on near.com.
When Confidential Intents TVL reaches $70M, eligible users receive [email protected]. It converts 1:1 into NEAR only after NEAR holds a $3.33 VWAP for 3 consecutive days.
The community sets the pace.
GLM-5.2 is now live on @near_ai so you can get the best open-source coding model with verifiable privacy and save 80%+ on your agentic coding costs!
Check it out here: cloud.near.ai/models/z-ai/gl…

NEAR was focused on AI before the hype.
Does @ilblackdragon feel vindicated? What's next?
Live today at 12pm ET @NEARProtocol's original AI vision, $NEAR outperformance, privacy, censorship resistance.

An under-explored architectural bet NEAR made years ago was how accounts function on NEAR. While others shipped hash-based addresses, NEAR built human-readable accounts decoupled from cryptography, controlled by rotatable access keys, and not bound to a single key pair.
This one
Case in point: quantum.
Because NEAR accounts aren't tied to breakable cryptography, they can be easily rotated to a quantum-safe signing scheme.
NEAR is adding the first post-quantum-safe signing scheme (FIPS-204) in the next protocol upgrade:
The account model is just one example of NEAR's key early architectural bets.
On the @therollupco, @ilblackdragon walked through how NEAR solved the hard primitives like Chain Signatures, Intents, and privacy to lay the foundation for the agent economy.
NEAR Intents are inevitable.
But why did Movement integrate Near?
As we work with consumer facing fintech apps and nation states, it’s clear that many consumers already have stablecoins or digital assets like BTC, SOL, ETH, DOGE, USDT, USDC, etc
But these assets are
We're integrating NEAR Intents.
Money needs to move without friction. Partners offering yield products on Movement will be able to accept and settle eligible user deposits from any connected chain. This will be the first production intent integration on Movement.
More to come.
"We're going to have billions of agents that will do transactions at a frequency and velocity that is inconsistent with how humans interact with software and financial systems today.”
NEAR Intents is more than cross-chain infrastructure. It’s the money rail for agentic finance.
.@sal_ternullo, CEO at @svrn_ai, discusses why AI agents will require an entirely new financial infrastructure, and how NEAR is building it.

The expanded NEAR Revenue Dashboard is now live.
Track protocol revenue, fee generation, and ecosystem activity through a single, transparent view of network performance.
Built to make key economic metrics easier to access, analyze, and share.
A look at key metrics 🧵
Here's the number that matters most on NEAR's revenue dashboard: protocol revenue as a % of emissions.
When captured revenue outpaces new issuance, NEAR becomes a net sink — more tokens bought back than issued.
That's the line we're walking toward. Watch it move.
JUST IN: @movement_xyz is now live on NEAR Intents
Swap MOVE and USDCx from 100+ native assets across 30+ chains in a single click at near.com
No wallet hopping. No bridges.
No juggling gas across multiple chains.
Just one-click, Intents-based execution.
We're integrating NEAR Intents.
