June '26 was slightly colder than normal for most of coastal Southern Alaska, Kodiak, & the Aleutian & Pribilof Islands. For interior Southern AK, temperatures were slightly warmer than normal. Precipitation was well above normal across Kodiak & below normal elsewhere. #climate
While rain showers likely to persist across Southcentral for the 4th of July, conditions are expected to improve through the rest of the holiday weekend and into early next week, with a warming and drying trend in store for most locations.
