A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL LANE COUNTY THROUGH 645 PM PDT. The threats associated with this storm are wind gusts up to 40 MPH and no hail is expected. Seek shelter in a sturdy structure until the storm passes.

    🌡️Here is a look at forecast high temperatures July 7-15. Expect highs mainly in the 80s each day for most inland valley locations and 60s at the coast, except for slightly cooler temperatures on 7/8 and 7/11 with highs around 75-80°F inland. Enjoy!

The trend shows relatively stable or dipping temperatures from Tuesday 7/7 through Saturday 7/11, followed by a steady upward warm-up starting Sunday 7/12 that peaks early next week.     Grilling out or going to a parade tomorrow? You're in luck! Expect warm and dry Independence Day weather across the PNW. Highs will be in the upper 70s to low 80s across the interior valleys, and 60s along the coast. Be thankful you aren't sweating through a heatwave this year!

    What weather can we expect to be served at your 4th of July BBQ? Steady warming peaking on Sat/Sun with highs inland around 80-85°F, & around 65°F along the coast. Conditions will be dry & sunny too! Be sure to follow all local regulations in your community, & as always be safe!
    WHAT WEATHER IS COOKING THIS WEEKEND? Steady warming starting on Friday with temperatures rising into the 80s in the lowlands. Sunny skies aside from the coast where some clouds will be present.     Cloudy skies with below normal daytime temperatures are expected through the work week. Temperatures then warm for the holiday weekend with mostly sunny skies. How do you feel about the forecast this week?
    A chart of the high temperature forecast for Monday, June 29 through Sunday, July 5 for multiple locations across northwest Oregon and southwest Washington. For the inland valleys, temperatures will be in the upper 60s to low 70s through Thursday, increasing by a few degrees each day Friday through Sunday to the mid to upper 80s by Sunday. The coast will be in the 60s all 7 days. The mountains will be in the 50s to 60s through Friday, increasing to the 70s for Saturday and Sunday. Forecast details: Cooler than normal temperatures and cloudy mornings through Friday. Warming with mostly sunny skies for the holiday weekend.

    There's a chance for strong showers and thunderstorms Saturday afternoon across much of NW OR and SW WA. Not expecting severe thunderstorms, but heavy rain, gusty winds, lightning, and even funnel clouds (but no tornadoes) are possible. Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors!
    Thunderstorm potential Saturday, June 27, 2026. A map shows a 15-30% chance of thunderstorms from the crest of the Coast Range to the crest of the Cascades with a 10-15% chance west of the Coast Range. Most likely timing: 11 AM - 5 PM. Impacts: Heavy rain. Gusty outflow winds. Lightning. Funnel clouds but no tornado threat. When thunder roars, go indoors.

    A Heat Advisory remains in effect through this evening for much of the interior lowlands of NW OR & SW WA. Beat the heat! Avoid spending extended time outdoors during the hottest part of the day. Stay hydrated & take frequent breaks from the heat. Try to find air conditioning.
    Heat Advisory Through 11pm Tuesday, June 23, 2026. WHAT: High temperatures up to 91°F to 95°F. Moderate to near Major HeatRisk - this level of heat can impact most individuals, especially those sensitive to heat. WHERE: Portland/Vancouver Metro & southwest Washington Lowlands, Western and Central Columbia River Gorge, central Willamette Valley, and north Oregon Cascade foothills. PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS: Avoid strenuous outdoor activities during the day if possible. Stay hydrated & take frequent breaks from the heat. Find locations with air conditioning. Beware of cold water shock: wear personal flotation devices when swimming in local rivers and lakes.
