- There were 100,911,620 guest nights spent in short-term lets in the UK from January to December 2025. This is an 11.5% increase in guest nights from the previous 12-month period (90,507,070). - The latest insights from our Opinions and Lifestyle Survey (6 to 31 May 2026). The cost of living, the NHS, and the economy have been the most commonly reported important issues facing the UK since October 2022. The most commonly reported worries about international conflict were: · fuel availability or prices (67%) · energy supply or prices (66%) · safety or well-being of those directly affected (61%)
- Retail sales were 0.4% up in March to May 2026 on the previous three months. Department stores did well in May because of good weather, while computer and telecoms retailers continued to grow following product releases in March 2026.
