    Peter Sutcliffe the Yorkshire Ripper is dead. We remember the 13 women he murdered & official disregard for sex workers' lives that left him free to kill again & again. With @AgainstRape we picketed the high court to protest the handling of the case by the court, police & media.

    VICTORY ‼️ Proposal for Newham’s Public Space Protection Order has been scrapped! We told the council that it would put sex workers at more risk of violence, criminalise women for trying to make a living, & be a dangerous expansion of police powers . . . and they listened!

    On 2 June 1975, following a series of brutal attacks & police crackdowns, over 100 sex workers occupied the Church of St. Nizier in Lyon, France. A banner hung over the church façade 'Our children don't want their mothers in prison’ #InternationalWhoresDay #IWD2020 #ISWD2020

    Today is #InternationalSexWorkersRightsDay. Covid has devastated sex workers’ lives -- our incomes have disappeared, violence and police raids/arrests continue and more women have been pushed into destitution & homelessness.
