❗ The Ukrainian Red Cross warehouse with humanitarian aid in Odesa has been destroyed and a mobile hospital in Mykolaiv damaged due to a missile strike. The staff and volunteers of the Ukrainian Red Cross were not injured. #notatarget

Ukrainian Red Cross staff & volunteers started to collect warm clothes and stuff, food, hygiene items and other necessities, and also provide shelters for evacuated people. In #Ukraine 🇺🇦, thousands of people had to leave their homes to find safer places for their families.

🔴 On May 8, a 1,000-square-meter warehouse of the Ukrainian Red Cross Odesa Regional Organization was destroyed by a missile strike on the city of Odesa. The fire entirely destroyed the humanitarian aid stored in the warehouse.

The #UkrainianRedCross has provided about 8,000 people, who shelter in the subway stations during the shelling — with food & basic necessities. 🔶 Many people have to stay in the subway for the whole night, they need food & water. #Ukraine #SupportUKraine

In eastern #Ukraine, we also continue to help those affected by the armed conflict, @RedCrossUkraine 🔹transporting people with limited mobility, 🔹collecting food & hygiene items in supermarkets, 🔹working with authorities to cover the needs of injured civilians in bandaging.

The Ukrainian Red Cross evacuate civilians from places where heavy shelling is taking place. Yesterday in the south of the country, Kherson region, about 100 people were evacuated: women, children & the elderly. They are provided with shelter and food. 🙏 #SupportUkraine #Ukraine

🔴 Missile attack on May 7, 2023, damaged a mobile hospital of the Mykolaiv Regional Organization of the URCS. As a result of the strike, some of its medical equipment, hardware and furniture became unsuitable for further use.
