- 36 years ago today (6/1/1985), Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band played at Slane Castle in Slane, Ireland. This was the largest show that Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band played at this point in time as an estimated 90,000-100,000 fans were in attendance.
