- Great to meet 🇨🇦 Minister @juliedabrusin. Canada remains a like-minded partner on climate action. We had a productive exchange on ETS, methane emissions, COP priorities, and ways to deepen EU–Canada cooperation on climate action. Looking forward to the next EU–Canada Summit.
- Good to meet Shigeharu Aoyama, 🇯🇵State Minister for the Environment. We reaffirmed our commitment to close cooperation ahead of COP31 and discussed the importance of effective carbon pricing. Congratulations to Japan on the entry into force of its mandatory green transition ETS.
- Pleased to welcome ministers in Brussels for the 10th Ministerial on Climate Action with our co-conveners China and Canada. A decade after its launch to build momentum for the Paris Agreement, this forum remains vital for dialogue, multilateral cooperation, and climate progress.

- We have a deal! @CY2026EU and @Europarl_EN agreed on changes to the ETS2' reserve. It will give more firepower to the MSR to stabilise prices in the future when needed, and will ensure a smoother start and operation of ETS2. This is a win for a fair and predictable transition!

We discussed sustainability, competitiveness, lower energy costs, electrification, and the challenges facing brewers as they navigate a changing market. - Important to be at the #luxembourgICFDays2026 🇱🇺🇪🇺 Every year of delayed investment in climate action adds trillions to the long-term climate bill, and transfers that bill to the most vulnerable. We need to make sure we transform commitment into real action on the ground.
