As we post this update, Nina’s keeper is feeding her and she is being comforted by him. She is lying in a comfortable resting position and is snacking on cucumbers. Nina, who has gone through inexpressible horrors all her life, has been amazingly forgiving to humans, and has

Moti Update: Our team is by Moti's side, making him comfortable and managing his pain. After a week rendering emergency roadside care, still hoping for the best. Our vets wished Moti would be standing by now, so we are all very concerned for his future. 🖊️RefuseToRide.org

Moti Update: Moti showed the most progress in terms of his appetite today. He ate about 25 kgs of sugarcane and 25 kgs of fruit. It is far from what an elephant his size would normally consume in a day. However, we are thrilled to see his appetite increasing. Go Moti Go!

Moti update: Here's a short video of Moti drinking water on his own (he had about 40 liters of water). He is also receiving fluids through an IV. The inflammation in his right leg reduced by another inch. Next hurdle is to turn him over onto his other side to prevent sores. 🙏

Moti Update 1/2: After his big day, #Moti is exhausted and resting upright. He is eating and drinking, which is easier in a vertical position. He still has a very long way to go and it will take time. Please consider a donation to support his care: bit.ly/3iYP7B6
