Words can not describe what it means to have been selected for the 6th annual @NFL Women’s Forum! I’m rarely at a loss for words but this is almost unbelievable. Thank you @samrap10, @andiedjamal & @VJHutch87 for the opportunity & everything you do to move the industry forward!

Deadlifting is not detrimental to the spine. Squatting is not detrimental to the knees. Pressing is not detrimental to the shoulders. These narratives are detrimental. Inactivity is detrimental.

Excited to announce that I have accepted a role with the St. Louis Cardinals as a Rehabilitation Performance Specialist. It’s truly an honor to be a part of this performance department- evidence based, athlete-centered, multidisciplinary and collaborative to say the least.

My roommate and I are having a debate. Please favorite for single stuffed Oreos and retweet for double stuffed. Make the right decision.

Can’t wait until I’m a PT / Strength Coach in the NFL. Yes I have the confidence to say that on SM. No it won’t be because I’m a woman / minority, it’ll be because I’m damn good at what I do. Thank you to these women for paving the way. #forwardprogress #womeninfootball

Best thing that’s happened to me in the last year is surrounding myself with people like @CoachRyanDavis and everyone else at Maryland. Find you a coach that supports you like this. Find you a program that’s supports you like this. #TBIA

I just came to the realization that ever since joining the S&C world "hell yeah brother!!" has become a common part of my dialect.

How female coaches are expected to have experience and confidence… but not too much confidence because then we’re cocky and that’s unattractive. Also need to be stern and able to command the room… but not too much because then you’re a “b****.”

“I thanked my physical therapist in the locker room. He was with me all offseason. He put vacations on hold to get me back to where I needed to be. He really helped me a lot, as well as my physical therapist in California. I owe a lot to those two guys.”

Over the past 6 months I’ve heard a lot about effort and how it’s a choice; can you versus will you. I’ve learned that the right choice isn’t always the easy one. Here’s a progression of the genuine joy it brings me when our guys make the right choice and give 110% effort!#TBIA

Underrated in rehab: using Olympic lifts and their variations to address Rate of Force Development deficits, explosive strength qualities, and even deceleration capacity. It’s a shame that most DPT programs are teaching clamshell variations instead.

This might sound harsh but I don’t like average people and they tend to not like me. I don’t tolerate poor performance in myself or those around me.
