    Five core jobs of a CEO: 1. Nail down strategy for company 2. Deliver capital to pursue that strategy 3. Build team to execute 4. Communicate the hell out of company strategy (internally and externally) 5. Hold people accountable.

    I moved to this country 26 years ago with a one-way ticket and $300 in my pocket. My parents lived in Pakistan, and I cleaned toilets and washed dishes at $4.75/hour to speak to my parents at a cost of 4-5minutes per month, and to pay for books. America is an amazing country!

    When I speak to companies that raised $100-200m+ dollars and failed, I routinely hear: “We raised too much money, and instead of thinking strategically about the market and building products customers wanted, we tried to brute force our way through it. And ran out of money.”

    I am hearing of Jewish friends all over the country going to Muslim mosques, offering prayer, holding hands, and standing together in solidarity against barbarism, hate, and racism. Just the way Muslims did after Pittsburgh. This is amazing. May we together fight this curse.

    Look asshole: you attacked the United States Congress, and tried to topple its government. I was getting the SSSS printed on my airport Boarding cards (that meant ‘extra screening’) for years after 9/11 just because I had the same religion as the assholes who attacked us then.
