This is bonkers. Iphone screen now vs the OG. I could fit ONE icon from the modern screen to the old. Flat design was a necessity, because we were designing for the size of a business card. We are going to make beautiful rich icons because we were suppressed for YEARS.

Best logo design tip I can give you. Get these two books. One is for letters and one is symbols. They have the strongest marks I’ve ever seen. Say you need an “M” logo - snag a bunch of these and iterate off of them (don’t copy and paste, copy and improve).

Dear @figma, Adobe’s model works—clients need their own license to open files. With Figma, I have to pay for others to access my files, which is impractical and unfair to freelancers. Please fix this. ♡ Marc

Designers don't gatekeep. I have been using Phosphor icons and its so great - Search for an icon, grab an SVG and throw it into Figma. You can also run their plugin inside of Figma. Clean stuff....
