I kid you not, @itchio has been taken down by @OriginalFunko because they use some trash "AI Powered" Brand Protection Software called @BrandShieldltd that created some bogus Phishing report to our registrar, @iwantmyname, who ignored our response and just disabled the domain- Replying to @lolpython and @iwantmynamealthough i think that AI slop sending bullshit abuse notices is bad. a domain registrar ignoring a response to its abuse process and automatically suspending a domain of a business is far far worse, to the point where i recommend anyone who uses iwantmyname to transfer off.
- simply preload every single visible link that the user can ever possibly click on and your nextjs app will be fast! also we'll charge you for the compute to serve all these API calls on our serverless platform! this is what they're pedaling. absolute insanity.

If a navigation is slow it’s one or more of; - They’re not prefetching - They don’t have fallbacks / loaders - They have slow backends - Replying to @lolpythoni have always maintained that vercel/nextjs is scam-ware designed to extract money from VC funded startups into their own pockets via an inefficient software stack and a hosting solution that is orders of magnitude more expensive than what it actually costs to serve.
