- Just watched the video. Yes, these tests are extreme but they’re not nearly extreme enough where this phone should explode. If this isn’t a one-off, Google has an issue on its hands.Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is the first phone that exploded during JerryRigEverything's durability test. 💀 On top of that, it didn't survive the bend test either.
- The C1 Apple modem is a monumental technical achievement. A several billion dollar effort that has been in the works for 7 years. In the end it gets two sentences in the press release and 15 seconds in the announcement video. Apple is clearly downplaying this intentionally.
- BREAKING: Apple is pulling its end-to-end encryption feature — Advanced Data Protection — in the UK, in a stunning development after the government ordered the company to build a backdoor to user data. Apple is not complying.
- The screen on my Galaxy Fold review unit is completely broken and unusable just two days in. Hard to know if this is widespread or not.
- People forget why the original iPhone box was larger. It came with a bunch of stuff: a dock (!), cable, cleaning cloth (!), charging brick and earbuds. - BREAKING: President Donald Trump’s administration exempted smartphones, computers and other electronics from its so-called reciprocal tariffs in win for Apple (and shoppers). This lowers the China tariff from 125%.
- Apple should have just saved this for the Apple Car. This is awesome!
- NEW: Apple will announce its biggest ever software rebrand at WWDC, tied to operating system redesigns. Apple is moving from version numbers to years (like Windows in the 90s). The new OSs: iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS 26, visionOS 26, tvOS 26, watchOS 26.
- It’s over: Apple has fixed multitasking on the iPad, mimicking the experience on the Mac. We won!
