    Cisco ran this play 2 years ago and bought @AppDynamics for $4B on the eve of the IPO. SaaS valuations keep going up so I guess $8B is now the price! Smart deal, expect to see more of this. Big sw cos have to buy growth and there is a ton of it in private SaaS cos right now.
