This past year I found my passion for WordPress contribution, developer advocacy, and education. Therefore, I'm excited to announce that I've joined the .org Developer Relations team @Automattic and am now a full-time contributor to the WordPress project. Time to get to work...

It's official, today is my last day at @wpengine. Such an amazing experience. I couldn't have asked for a better team, and I'm so proud of our work in DevRel. For now, I plan to take some time off, tinker on a few blocks, and work on #WordPress 6.2. Excited for the future! 💪

For those wondering, I stayed. It wasn’t a question. A year and a half ago, I joined @automattic with one clear purpose: to dedicate myself full-time to @WordPress and collaborate with an incredible team of open-source contributors. I truly love what I do. Whether it’s

It's #WordPress 6.0 release day! 🥳 A lot of hard work and passion was put into this release. It doesn't mean there isn't more work to be done, but let's celebrate all those that made 6.0 possible! 🎉💪

I've been experimenting with block-based mega menus powered by a single custom block and the Interactivity API. Still a bit rough under the hood, but a successful proof-of-concept.

I am pleased to announce the release of @BlockVisibility 3.0.0. This is the largest update since launching the plugin in 2020. TL;DR: The Pro add-on is being merged into the main plugin and all functionality will be available for free moving forward. 🥳

The upcoming Twenty Twenty-Five theme in WordPress 6.7 is by far the most capable default block theme we've seen. I encourage you to start exploring it. And join @carolinapoena, @juanfraa, and myself next Tuesday for an in-depth walkthrough during Developer Hours. RSVP link 👇

Everyone asks me if @theiconblock can add icons to the core Button block in #WordPress. Unfortunately, the answer is no. But while traveling last week, I built a little demo plugin that does just that. It works quite well, and no need for a custom block 😉
