- Solana seems like a 20th century approach to solving a 21st century problem.
- I went into crypto full-time ~4 years ago. I was skeptical (mostly about it scaling), but I suspended my disbelief in order to learn. Everything shifted when I grasped the architecture with zero-knowledge proofs. The basics of zk are crucial for predicting the next decade's tech.
- I've been in SF, LA, Miami and NYC this year. Outsiders don't understand how focused the SF tech scene is. Its monoculture is in bed by 10pm; nightlife doesn't exist - weekend nature hikes are your recreation. Lifestyle is optimized around health and startup success, not culture.

- I often interview candidates who are still in college, and wish I could publish these conversations. Many of the smartest kids are planning to take a break from school to participate in DAOs, NFTs, & DeFi. Web3 will be a foundational skillset in the next generation of work.

- DAOs are extreme organizations. They thrive either in contexts of singular focus, like raising $50m to buy the constitution, or as on-chain nations like BTC or Ethereum. DAOs struggle in slow marshes, where loyalty and predictability (tenants of traditional management) are vital.
- I'd love to start a reading and discussion group exploring the impact of crypto on culture and society. Maybe, "Crypto, Culture, & Society" is an appropriate name. Lots of ways this could go. DM if interested. A syllabus for general consumption will exist, if started.
