- 📣 Big changes this week: Our backend is now entirely hosted on @googlecloud, via @Firebase hosting! 🔥 All npm proxy requests are now handled by Google Cloud Functions, which provide an auto-scaling, fault-tolerant backend.
- unpkg.com served over 100 TB of traffic over the past 30 days, to almost 600 million people around the world.
- Heads up: we are temporarily shifting all our origin traffic away from Heroku to a brand new stack on @GCPcloud for the next hour. We will be monitoring closely. Please let us know if you see anything out of the ordinary.
- Replying to @unpkg @googlecloud and @FirebaseThis transition was made possible by a generous donation from the team behind the @angular web framework, one of the world's most popular libraries for building incredible user experiences on both desktop and mobile. 💪
- We've blocked npm-cdn.info's IP from proxying requests through to unpkg.com. Please use unpkg URLs directly.
- We served 5 BILLION requests over the past 30 days to ~400M people, 82% of which came from the cache 😅 unpkg.com/#/stats
