- Brain surgery 2 is done and successful - got more tumor out. And now I’m a big Duke fan
- Pre-surgery MRI time! These are big tubes you go inside and they’re loud and make cheesy 1980’s sci-fi noises. They’re oddly restful - no big deal. Let’s go!

- 1 week of chemo and radiation done! Tired, but walking a ton every day & I have a personal trainer who I love because he's tough on me. Still relearning how to type / retrain my poorly behaved left hand. It's a marathon and every step is hard & moves you 5 cm. But we're walking &
- Seizure last night in front of the whole family. Doing ok, but scan came back a bit dirty, possible “regression”. Booooo. Send love, encouragement and any ideas - looking into CAR T at MGH
- Today I turn 41. Cons: have this mean-ass brain tumor Pros: unlike last year, I’m at home. Also, my MRI from Monday is stable and I watched my baby cousin get married last weekend Plenty to be grateful for
- Ok beautiful people time for an update! 11 days of chemo and radiation done down here at Duke, 22 to go. My chemo (low dose pill) is easy, radiation is quick and painless. Working my arse off all day every day exercising, walking, typing, etc.
- 6 days ago, my brain was getting poked, today I fly home with @leannapelham to see my son! Thank you for all the love and encouragement!
- Today I turn 40. Not how I pictured it: in the middle of chemo and radiation for a cancer that can’t be cured, working my ass off to keep walking, and away from my family. It sucks. On the bright side, 2 friends are visiting me in Durham and we’re making pizza tonight
