Hi everyone! I found this awesome charity auction on eBay and thought it might be of interest. Michael Rosenbaum autographed some of the cutest little bears I've seen.
With the support of the Vancouver film industry, we are proud to bring you Bears that Care for BC Women's - the cutest fundraiser in town!
Famous personalities from film and television have thrown their support behind BC Women's by autographing these cuddly little bears. And they are just crying out for a new home - with you! ( Read more...Collapse )
Hi, I've just started a new community for Clark/Lex fanfiction, read_clex. It works like a book club. People recomend finished fics, everybody goes and reads it and then we all discuss it.
I hope this will be a great project, so please join. We will accept all types of fic as long as it is complete and has Clark/Lex as the major pairing. If you would like to see how it works you can look at my other community, read_harrydraco.
Inspired by the name of one of the new filters, I created community called read_my_wips. I inteded to write out all the userinfo and make it all official and stuff before announcing it, but it's in read-only mode and you all know I have no patience.
So, what is read_my_wips? It's a community for people to post works in progress! All fandoms, all genres, the only requirement is that the stories consist of more than one part. No complete fics, until they're completed. Because I *know* that when people are writing WiPs I'm just dying to get back to, wouldn't it be great to have them all in one place? Plus, I seem to have a kink for creating communities. Who knew?
Join if you want to read or post WiPs. And as soon as LJ lets me edit the userinfo, I'll put in the bio.
Or maybe not! Because, I mean, it's a work-in-progress community. Shouldn't the community be a work in progress too? *is pleased by own genius*
Join! Pimp! Progress! Er, something like that.
ETA: There is a partial userinfo now. It's incomplete, but, well, it's symbolic.
The following was inspired by yavannauk's One Night in Metropolis, as written for nerodi. It's the first story I've completed in a long time, but as soon as I read her fic, I just had to write this. I hope you all like it, and Yavanna? Thanks for being such an inspiration.
Title: Risk Author: SkaterBoy Category: angst, drama, first time, hurt-comfort, romance, episode-related Spoilers: Slumber, Bound Rating: NC-17 Pairing: Clark/Lex Summary: Clark confronts Lex after the last scene in One Night in Metropolis. Author's Note: I'm not saying what that scene is because it's spoilery for both fics and it would be advantageous to read yavannauk's fic first as it directly precedes this one. Disclaimers: The characters aren't mine. Sorry.
I have just created an SV RPG! It is called Smallville, Kansas. It is brand new and every character is availiable besides Chloe. I would really appreciate members...
Ok, feeling creative today so here's two more for now:
The "Woobie" one you'll understand if you spend any time on the Kryptonsite message board. Basically any time Lex is in a situation where you feel sorry for him and just want to give him a big ol' hug is a "woobie moment".
The OutCast Corner Club (OCCC) is a community dedicated to *squick*. We read and recommend the most unsuitable pairings, unpleasant or just plain wrong situations in fan fiction. The moderator's fandom of choice is Smallville, but members are not restricted to this fandom. All fandoms, genres, ratings and pairings are welcome.
Clark/Jonathan?
Lex/Jonathan?
Lana/Lionel?
Lana/Clark? (You know some of you are squicked by this.)
If it makes you want to gag, we want it. Join the outcastclub!
It's here! The journal, that is, not the first chapter, although that is well in the works. The first entry is up for my new journal based upon my alternate Smallville universe...
Title: Extended Honeymoon Phase Category: Established Relationship, PWP, Romance Rating: NC-17 Pairing: Clark/Lex Summary: Clark and Lex enjoy some time to themselves. For digitalwave, who requested CLex celebrating something in a cabin far from civilization.
All right, folks, here it is. The crossover between the two most kerfluffled shows in fandom this summer. I'm still a loyal Smallville (fandom) fan and I'm a newly loyal OC (fandom) fan. If I want my pretty boys to get it on, I don't care if any of yall flame me for being "untrue" to any one fandom. The way I look at it, this is the best of both worlds. If you don't like it, don't read it.
I do, however, know that some of you will like it.

Title: On the Run Fandom: Smallville/O.C. Category: Crossover, Drama, Episode-Related, First Time Spoilers for: Exodus (SV), Pilot (OC) Rating: NC-17 (eventually) Pairing: Clark/Ryan Summary: Clark comes across another 'runaway' when he leaves Kansas.
The actual boards will be posted soon! You will have until August 31st to submit your chosen numbers, but we will send you your conditions as soon as you submit them to either rontgenkatze or myself. When the deadline passes you'll have five weeks to write your essay and/or story.
rontgenkatze and I will be hosting another challenge. Unlike Kinksville, this challenge will have a deadline, but we'll do our best to be flexible with anyone who needs it.
The challenge is to write an essay and/or story as though it's an assignment one of the characters from Smallville has received. Everyone who participates will be assigned five conditions:
1. The rating of the story (G, PG, PG-13, R, or NC-17). 2. A combination of point of view and tense in which you must write. For example, you might receive first person past tense, or third person present tense. 3. The course in which the character received the assignment. For example, your character might be writing for Creative Writing, Chemistry, or Anatomy. 4. The character as whom you will be writing. 5. A word or phrase that must be included in the essay, or a title.
So here's where I need your help. Whether or not you want to participate in this challenge, please submit a random word or phrase that must be included in the essay, or a title. Thanks to everyone in advance!
I'm really looking forward to this challenge! The boards will be posted later today.
