Soloist Anti Pop Totalization Premieres New Single "Turncoat"

Japan experimental/electronic/minimal synth artist Soloist Anti Pop Totalization has premiered his new single “Turncoat“.

Originally launched in 2016 as Soloist Apartment, the project began as a home recorded exploration of analog synthesizers and drum machines before evolving into Soloist Anti Pop Totalization.

Using vintage instruments including the Roland SH 101, TR 606, MC 202, and BOSS DR 55, the project creates stark, hypnotic soundscapes that combine mechanical precision with unexpected warmth. Although the music may initially sound metallic and austere, its focus is on depth, space, and a strong sense of heat.

Soloist Anti Pop Totalization has gained recognition beyond Japan, with releases receiving continued support from radio stations and DJs across Europe, North America, and other parts of the world.

The song serves as the title track of his upcoming EP, out on July 10 through META MOTO. Grab it here and take a listen below.
