Clytie Bunyan recently retired from The Oklahoman after a distinguished 36-year journalism career. As the first female and longest-tenured Business Editor, she later served as Managing Editor for Opinion & Community Engagement, winning the 2023 Carmage Walls Commentary Prize.
A 2020 Oklahoma Journalism Hall of Fame inductee, Bunyan remains active on the newspaper’s editorial board and the Oklahoma Newspaper Foundation’s trustees. She mentors young journalists and advises the Prison Journalism Project. Her extensive community service includes leadership roles with the Salvation Army and Science Museum Oklahoma, alongside dedicated advocacy for elder care through Gospel of Life Dwelling.

Joe Dorman is the CEO of the Oklahoma Institute for Child Advocacy (OICA), a nonprofit championing better state policies for children. Before joining OICA, Dorman served 12 years as a State Representative for House District 65, authoring key legislation on education and public safety. He was also the 2014 Democratic nominee for Governor.
A dedicated community leader, Dorman serves on boards for the Jasmine Moran Children’s Museum and the Oklahoma Academy. Recognized as one of the 50 most influential Oklahomans in 2022 by The Journal Record, he remains active in the Rotary Club of Oklahoma City.

Dr. Jerry Goodwin is a multifaceted leader in education, journalism, and public relations. A fourth-generation journalist, he serves as Associate Publisher of The Oklahoma Eagle and CEO of Goodwin and Grant, the state’s oldest minority PR firm. In academia, he is a professor at Tulsa Community College and faculty adviser for the TCC Connection.
A former CEO of the Metropolitan Tulsa Urban League, Dr. Goodwin holds a doctorate in Law and Policy from Northeastern University. His extensive service includes leadership roles with the Society of Professional Journalists and the City of Tulsa/Rogers County Port of Catoosa board.

Kelly Dyer Fry is an accomplished journalist and nonprofit leader with over four decades of experience. As of 2025, she serves as the Executive Director of Autism Oklahoma.
A third-generation journalist, Fry spent 26 years at The Oklahoman, where she became Editor and Publisher in 2018. She was a digital pioneer, helping launch NewsOK.com, and later served as a regional editor for Gannett.
Following her media career, she transitioned into nonprofit leadership, focusing on mental health and justice reform. A 2014 Oklahoma Journalism Hall of Fame inductee, Fry also received the prestigious Milt Phillips Award.

Sue Hale is the senior journalism consultant for the Inasmuch Foundation. She is the former executive editor of The Oklahoman and spent the majority of her journalism career at newspapers in Kansas and Oklahoma. Hale served as president of the National Freedom of Information Coalition and helped found Freedom of Information Oklahoma. She also chaired the First Amendment Committee of the American Society of Newspaper Editors. She was inducted into The Oklahoma Journalism Hall of Fame in 2005.

Dr. Crystal Hernandez, Psy.D., MBA, is a behavioral-health leader with extensive experience across mental health, substance use, intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), and justice and forensic behavioral-health systems. Her work focuses on strengthening community safety while improving access to evidence-based care through system innovation, policy development, and cross-sector collaboration.
Dr. Hernandez is known for bridging gaps between behavioral health, courts, and public safety systems to create more efficient pathways to care and better outcomes for individuals with complex needs. She has partnered with behavioral-health agencies, tribal governments, and justice stakeholders to develop programs, policies, and models of care. She also provides training for law enforcement and first responders.

Jonna D. Kauger Kirschner is the Chief of Staff for Chickasaw Nation Industries (CNI). Ms. Kirschner leverages extensive leadership in economic development and manufacturing. As President of CNI Manufacturing, she transformed the company into a diversified industry leader. Previously, as Executive Director of the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, she successfully recruited global giants like Google and GE to the state.
A graduate of Dartmouth and Boston College Law, she is licensed to practice law in Oklahoma, Washington, DC and Massachusetts. Her community impact includes serving as President of the Oklahoma Israel Exchange and Trustee for OETA

Jeff Martin is the President and Co-Founder of the nonprofit Tulsa Literary Coalition/Magic City Books, Director of Communications at Philbrook Museum of Art, and Chapter Leader of PEN America.

Terri Watkins is a distinguished investigative journalist celebrated for her accuracy and integrity. After beginning her career in radio, she transitioned to television with OETA and KOCO-TV in 1982. A two-time Peabody Award winner, she gained national recognition for her coverage of the Oklahoma City bombing and as the only reporter to interview Timothy McVeigh face-to-face.
A 2005 Oklahoma Journalism Hall of Fame inductee, Watkins was also honored in KOCO 5’s 2025 Hall of Fame class. She previously served as president of FOI Oklahoma and held communications leadership roles for the Oklahoma Department of Corrections

Emma Webb is the Digital Media Coordinator for the Oklahoma City Zoo. She is a graduate from Rollins College in Winter Park, FL where she began her career in the zoo and aquarium world first at the Central Florida Zoo and then as the Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator for SeaWorld Orlando. She is a Lambda Pi Eta scholar and currently serves on the Marketing Committee for the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.
