Yay, winter photography! :D These are both lovely pics, but I find myself particularly enjoying the general shot over the lake. 'Tis really pretty, it is. ♥
I've got the impression that you're not a big fan, but I effin' adore winter. This current one, in particular, has been just wonderful weather-wise. Spring disagrees with me because of my awful pollen allergies, summer because heat and humidity pretty much suck the life out of me. Autumn can be kinda cool, but only before it gets to the point where it's wet, dark and cold all day everyday. Winters, on the other hand - proper cold, white, snowy winters - me likey. A lot. :)
How have I managed to give the impression that I don't like winter... hmm... I actually do like it. Autumn is my favourite, but I would take winter over summer any day, mostly because I hate feeling too hot, and I'm scared of the bugs :)
Oh no, my wording was off, I'm sorry! I never meant to imply you didn't like winter at all, just that perhaps you weren't quite as big of a winter nut as I am. Like, every time spring comes I'm just like "NOOOOOOO, GO AWAY YOU AWFUL THING!" and would happily live in my own special Winter Wonderland all year round, whereas I seem to have a recollection of you actually being positive about the arrival of spring (by which I do not mean to say you don't like winter, just that you appear capable of appreciating other seasons as well, which is a good quality to have, imo). I could be wrong about that too, though. My memory's a bit of a mess these days. Either way, I apologize for the mix-up. *looks sheepish*
That was a totally lovely ramble :) You don't have to panic over this, really. I indeed like spring too, and like I said, autumn is my favourite. I was just saying that I like winter more than summer. So calm down, take a deep breath, and smile :) And again, I loved that ramble so much...
