About

This blog is the brain child of a final project, assigned during the first semester of my senior year of college at Belmont University.  It was supposed to serve as an addition to a metaphorical portfolio of sorts, representing the vary thing that we wanted to become a quote on quote expert in.  I took to the project like wildfire, mostly because I had been looking for an excuse to take the time out of my day and create something like this, and partly because my teacher took out a personal vendetta on me and seeing as how this class’s grade was participation based (which directly translates to how much the teacher likes you based grade) I knew this project had to kick ass.  I could go into many more details as to how this project was created based around the guidelines of my class project, but alas, the class is over and I have gotten my grade.  I do not want to bore anyone with the concept born from such a dense, arrogant teacher, nor do I want to rant via blog post like every other human being on this planet.  That is not what this blog is for.

This blog’s purpose is to celebrate new music in all of its astonishing and shocking glory.  Music that has traveled across the world or even from my neighbors basement and deserves an ear to absorb it, songs that break boundaries and set standards, lyrics that drip and ooze from your speakers weather they be from your in home studio subwoofer or the most recent upgrade in the iPhone.
