Point: Presuppositional apologetics is really a worldview apologetics that among other things, analyzes the foundational beliefs of those who challenge the BIblical worldview.  In other words, Presuppositionalists engages in an internal critique against an opponent’s presuppositions to show how they cannot provide the “solid foundation” to make human experiences intelligible and meaningful.  Sometimes people might not understand what the presuppositionalists is doing so an illustration is in order.

4 out of 5

This is another adventure found in another issue Batman: Gotham Adventures from the world of the beloved Batman Animated series from the 1990s.  I love these issues from this series!  My kids tend to not like stories involving Mr. Freeze but I thought this one exceeded our expectation.

Today’s post will tackle another question that the Skeptic Annotated Bible asked: “How many talents of gold did Hiram send Solomon?”

Here are the answers which the skeptic believes shows a Bible contradiction:

420

“And Hiram sent his servants with the fleet, sailors who knew the sea, along with the servants of Solomon. 28 And they went to Ophir and received 420 talents of gold from there, and brought it to King Solomon.” ( 1 Kings 9:27-28)

450

“And by his servants Huram sent him ships and servants who knew the sea; and they went with Solomon’s servants to Ophir and took from there 450 talents of gold, and brought it to King Solomon.” (2 Chronicles 8:18)

Want to read a book explaining and defending Presuppositional apologetics?  For years I wonder if Ken Ham understands Presuppositional Apologetics; I think this book shows us he does understand Presuppositionalism and this book is also a good introduction to a Bible based apologetics’ methodology.

Tate Brombal.  Batgirl, Volume 2: Bloodlines Burbank, CA: DC Comics, February 17, 2026. 120 pp.

4 out of 5

Purchase: Amazon

I have enjoyed the first volume of this 2024 series which was a pleasant surprise with how good it is so reading this second volume makes sense.  I like the version of Cassandra Cain as Batgirl and my kids also liked it too.  Cassandra Cain is a girl that was turned into an assassin at an early age and sadly she was never taught to speak so that she can be the assassin that read human body movement like a language which makes her very lethal.  This second volume trade paperback collects Batgirl issues seven through eleven.
